For Valentine’s Day, I received a copy of the City of Toronto Archives calendar, “Toronto After Dark”. This is a great little desktop calendar filled with night snapshots of Toronto from years past.

Right now, February is a hilarious flash photo of a 1943 snowblower in action while some guy on the sidelines sneaks his grin into the photo… appropriate for today’s weather.

Also, seeing as it’s February, it’s now on SALE for $3. A good deal. Drop by the Archives (Davenport & Spadina) before they’re all gone.
