Next stop on the CIRCA exhibit tour, world class gelato shop, Solferino’s.

Eight 12×12″ photos from CIRCA are up NOW and the exhibit will run until May 31st!

Opening event: Instead of another swanky late night opening, let’s kick spring/summer off right with an afternoon of art and ice cream. Mmmm.

Join me, Saturday, April 28th, 2007, from 3-6pm at Solferino’s (38 Wellington St East, Toronto, ON).

Le Petit Dejeuner (191 King St East, Toronto – map)

Ten 12×12″ b&w prints from the pages of CIRCA will be featured in this exhibit, which runs until March 16th, 2007. Book will be available for purchase at the Feb 17th launch and later here online.

I will be providing snacks and Le Petit Dejeuner will have a full bar at your service.

While working the night away on this site, I received an e-mail from a tech rep at the publishing co, confirming that if I gave him the go, the final version of Circa was off to the presses tonight.

*waving green flag*

CIRCA: An Urban Retrospect, explores Toronto’s history through the photos and memories of E.A., our narrator and journal-keeper.

Here on Urban Retrospect, I want to give those same personal histories, ideas and images a space to appear and tell their story. The site will also be open to reader contributions, from other cities besides Toronto, on a weekly basis.

More details on the book release later this week.
